BEHIND THE BRAND
Launched in 2007, MURR DESIGNS is the creative brainchild of Jacqueline Payne, an Australian trained jeweller and design enthusiast. From an early age, Jacqueline developed a passion for the arts, experimenting with unique textiles and precious metals. This eventually led to her designing and making her own pieces, and as a result Murr Designs was born.
Nurturing a strong desire to produce stand-out jewellery, Jacqueline’s work uses an abundance of bold and unexpected materials which hold a truly remarkable presence. Her clients are as diverse as the materials within her creations.
Each piece is designed with a high level of embellishment from the timeless classics with subtle hand detailing to the large statement necklaces dripping with colour and luxe materials. It is only after a continuous cycle of modification and assembly that a signature Murr Design is achieved.
This year's collection ARCADIA explores the magical streets of Paris and its delicate mix of architecture and floral design. Murr Designs combines the unique use of natural leathers alongside hand cast brass and semi precious stones to create an incredibly distinct look.
